I just love it when it comes to writing my monthly Top Commentator Award and showing my utmost appreciation to my readers and subscribers for all your visits and comments on my home business blog. For those new to this blog, as a small gesture of my appreciation, the Top Commentator for each month will be recognized and rewarded with a free one-month 125×125 ad banner on this blog.

It’s really a nice feeling, an achievement somewhat. Its my readers who I write for my blog and it’s commentators on my blog that make it a more meaningful one sharing discussions and hopefully that has benefited you somehow. Afterall what’s a blog if no one visits it or no one comments on it.

This Top Commentator for The Month of November goes to …(drumroll) Dave of Dave’s Affiliate Marketing. Dave has always joined in lots of discussion, contributed his thoughts and knowledge of the topics in discussion. Thank you Dave for being my top commentator and I look forward to your continued support to this blog. It’s having interaction on my blog and with commentators like you that give a meaning to a blog that makes blogging seem a little less impersonal and more fun. You also belong to the category of “Boomerang Commentators“, something which I learned from another Top Commentator, Sire who said:

Boomerang Commentators: These commentators are the pick of the bunch, the ones that all  bloggers aspire to. They are the ones that continually return to your blog, and it’s because your content has struck a cord in them, one that lures them back time and time again to see what other commentators are saying, to add to the conversation yet again and to also check to see what new post has been added.

If I may digress a little, incidentally Dennis is starting this contest and looking for sponsors as he recently launched 2 blogs and you already know what the benefits of being a blog contest sponsor can be. I just visited his blog and if I know Dennis well it’s going to be as it sounds - a heck of a smashing blog contest. Good luck Dennis.

This wraps up a pretty hectic month of November which saw one of my keyword phrases, work from home ideas getting to Google Top 10.   • @Sire: If I could now give an award for someone who is always the first to comment on my blog it gotta be you. Thanks! Without discrediting Dave, somehow I think you did what you said you would do when you got the second time award, i.e. let someone else get it. I mean you were just one comment away. You may have to come up with a new term for this commentator category of yours for being the first to comment on blogs. Maybe "Super Commentator"? haha!

  • Have not heard the term Boomerang Commentators before but I quite like it and yes its very true. Your posts are always interesting to read, do you set yourself a time limit to get them done in or do you just go with the notion they take as long as they take? Congratulations to Dave from Affiliate Marketing also.
  • @khaled: Hi Kha,thanks for the compliment. No I don't set a time frame. Some posts take much longer to write. This post and those like Link Love posts are the easiest to do. This post took me 15 minutes to complete. But for pillar posts like those I write for my Link Building Strategy when I have to do research, it can take as long as 4 hours to complete one.One tip I can share with you is write from your heart and imagine yourself as the reader what would you like to read or how you like it written. Thanks for dropping by. It's always good to have you here.

  • Congrats to Dave. Loving the link love ;) I also really like the idea of giving away a 125x125 ad as an added incentive. I have always found that blogs which have top commentators have a much larger following (or at least the illusion of a following), so I recently decided to do it myself. Still waiting on the surge of participation from the readers, but I have faith...
