  • Social networking may have started out as a way for students to keep track of their friends, but it has expanded in just about every direction. These days, you…
  • Social networking sites like digg is great to help your site gain more traffic and index by Google..
  • The time to start an online MLM business has never been better. With more and more people and businesses going online, a significant number of business owners are looking to the Internet as the source for the new business opportunities of tomorrow. Even after the Internet bust of the 90s, traffic on the Internet is at an all-time high. Starting an online MLM business from your home is an attractive and often lucrative option that deserves to be explored.

Work from home on your own online MLM business can give you the freedom you've always wanted. No boss looking over your shoulder at your every move; no time clock to punch; no one to tell you what to do. It does sound attractive but a lot of hard work goes with the territory. Just be willing to do the things necessary to promote and run your business. Taking risks is a scary option but the payoffs are will worth it.

Can you start an online MLM business? Of course! One option is getting with an established MLM firm and selling their products. Yes, there are offline companies selling the same products but you probably won't be bidding for the same business.

Here are some online MLM business options to consider.

    * Business to business transactions are ever growing. With the Internet, e-commerce transactions are quickly taking over. Some of the options you might consider include: marketing consulting, advertising, and computer work such as administrative needs.

    * Selling products retail over the Internet is also very popular. Many of the large MLM companies offer websites that you can use to sell their products.

    * The travel industry is always a good online MLM business to consider. You can package travel deals together and sell them yourself or have distributors sell them for you!

Starting an online MLM business can be the best thing that ever happened to you. With some hard work, thinking your plan through, and acting upon it, you can reap benefits for years to come.

Why aren't more network Marketers taught "online strategies that work"? With over 1 billion internet users worldwide it seems very strange that more MLM companies are not focusing their training more on internet marketing strategies.

The way they have been teaching for a long time, recruiting your warm market is working for some, but for most it has proven inefficient.

Before going into some online MLM strategies it is important to understand that for a growing number of us the Internet is the new way to connect, network and meet new people. If you do not believe me just look at the dating websites. That is a very competitive and lucrative online market.

To a lot of people it still seems kind of cold to meet or connect with people over the Internet. But here is the deal, the Internet is just a first point of contact, and depending on mutual business interests you can connect on other levels all the way to a complete business relationship. That last word holds the key to online MLM strategies.

Business is still about relationships, no matter how distant we may be from each other. That is actually nothing new. Before the internet, business people corresponded by mail and or telephone to lay the groundwork for a business relationship. Think about the import & export industry for example. Those people didn't just hop on an airplane bought some goods and came back. No they made the connections first and after that they met face to face.

The internet is no different, yet all too often I see people wanting to business on the first contact they make with a stranger. You cannot pitch your MLM business opportunity at the first point of contact with a complete stranger.

You must build a valuable relationship with your prospects, meaning you must provide value to them. You can offer them some health tips, or any advice that is related to your opportunity. If you help people they will automatically become more interested and more open to hearing about your business.

You can find people who are looking for advice in forums, on Facebook and other social sites like that. Become an authority in your niche, build trust, and provide value. That is how the top producers are sponsoring people online.

  • Social bookmarking sites and they are all nofollow sites but what you can get out of it are the visitors that are visiting those sites thats can benefit you when it comes to your niche its not the building of backlinks from those sites that are beneficial
  • If you're not careful, you can spend hours at these social networking sites before you know it. Also, it's important to keep in mind that you want to use these sites as a place to promote your business, so you want to focus on that

  • One question I have though is that she emphasizes the importance of social networking in regard to building backlinks. Is that true, though, as I'm assuming networks like facebook, youtube and the like are all nofollow? I'm assuming they'll help somewhat, perhaps because of the high PR.

  • Finally got around to reading this article, which I feel is crucial to my niche. One question I have though is that she emphasizes the importance of social networking in regard to building backlinks. Is that true, though, as I'm assuming networks like facebook, youtube and the like are all nofollow? I'm assuming they'll help somewhat, perhaps because of the high PR of the sites? But will they have a huge effect due to their nofollow status?

Also, it's important to keep in mind that you want to use these sites as a place to promote your business, so you want to focus on that, unless of course if you have different agenda in mind :)
