It’s just to share my link love with my readers and subscribers and bringing some new and interesting posts to them. Anyone who has read a good post and wants to share with us please just gave me a shout here. You could also nominate your own post if you’ve got a good one to share here. Just post your comment here giving some details.
Darren Rowse from Problogger shares with us 13 Ways to Add New Dimensions to Your Next Post. He tells us just what is needed to add more dept to your post and make it useful to your readers among others. Each time I visit his blog to read some of his work, I leave pretty much inspired and having learned something new. This post is no different and is a must read for everyone.
If you’ve read my recent post on my very first blog contest which is going on till end of this month, did you notice an oval shaped button. If not, here it is again:

Want to know how I did it. Well I used a button maker and the good news is it’s free! What I like about it is that it’s so easy to use and takes me just 2 minutes to create this one. The site to go to get your free button maker is called GRSites.com.
Are you tired of your blog wordpress theme and feel like having a new theme makeover without paying too much for it? Well today might just be your lucky day. Here is what DailyBlogTips recommend in his post Vistalicious WordPress Theme Released. It’s a pretty theme with two columns and a nice green flavored background. If you’re into monetizing your blog, this theme is ideal as it is advertising ready and easily customizable. And since it’s your lucky day, it’s free for download. Get it!
If you’ve been working like a dog in bringing more traffic to your blog and could almost swear you’ve tried just about everything there is written on the subject, don’t despair. Here’s one more to add to your long list bring you up to speed on 10 Newest Ways to Increase Blog Traffic.
Have you taken part in a Blog Carnival before? The idea behind a Blog Carnival is simple but clever. Someone takes the effort to find good quality blog posts on a given topic, and then puts all these posts together in a blog post called a “carnival”. I’ve participated in a few but my favorite is (drum roll)…BlogCarnival.com. So check it out and remember to put your best posts here to get backlinks and some traffic to your blog.
If you have a good post you like to share on Work From Home Business Blog, just simply comment below and give me a shout. Link Love - Links Round Up No. 5 will be published next Sunday.

Great post, Peter. I especially enjoyed Darren’s post about how to add depth to your blog posts.

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for dropping by again. It’s my favorite too. I really like Darren’s work. No wonder he is the no. 1 blogger but I guess, he is motivation for a lot of us to do just half as good as him - that would be good enough.
BTW I am still finding your comment in my spam folder. You may want to have Akismet despam your url from their spam folder.

I read the ‘10 newest ways to increase your blog traffic’ and it was all good except for the point where he recommends changing the blog theme every month. Wow that is way too many theme changes for my liking, especially if you really love your theme or if you’re one of those who prefers to buy professional ones.

Hi Sire,
I agree with you. It’s good to change your theme every now and then, but doing it monthly is excessive. Like me, I am about to change mine and it’s taken me more than 6 months to do so.

Hi Lucas,
Thanks for dropping by. Yes I see quite a number of bloggers give away such nice looking themes, including yourself too. I think it’s a great way to market your brand or products and good for SEO too. Keep in touch.

Hey Yan,
Yep! you lost your spot for this time, but don’t worry I’m sure you could be no. 1 in the next. Peterville…hmmm.. sounds nice, maybe I should promote it.

When I like a theme I sort of tend to stick with it. It’s like a home you love, you don’t sell it, you renovate it.

Hi Sire,
I can see why you like your theme. It’s looks awesome. Is it custom made. Bet it must have cost a bomb. Well be sure to check out my new theme. If all goes well it should be up tomorrow or Monday.
Have a great weekend!

Peter, it is actually free if you leave the links in the footer. It was the first one I considered buying but I changed my mind because of lack of support.

I am the same way.. If I like a theme.. the chances of changing it are slim.. even if its only adding something to the sidebar. I will debate about it for hours.

@Sire: Hi Sire, I do know that many bloggers give such great looking themes for free. But you’ve got a very nice one and must say you’ve “renovated” your home beautifully.
@Domain Structure: Brian, I know what you mean by deliberating for hours just to decide to include stuff in your sidebar. I too do this but usually succumb to it by giving in, till I got too many that slowed down my loading time. Well I sure learned a lesson.

Yes.. thats another thing to take into consideration.. adding too many things and slowing the site down.
On another note if you look in between your “Bookmark” and “Share This” buttons digg is being displayed as and not an actual button.

Hi Brian,
Yes about the Digg button, it’s intentional. You see I had not used Digg that much but one day (long time ago) I discovered my account was closed. Some friends in my forum told me when they tried to use it, there was a message about spaming. So I really don’t know what had happened. I contacted Digg many times but got no reply so I gave up trying. I then disabled the button. I will probably find a way to remove the display later.
