I made the mistake of creating and marketing my own product before I even check to see if there was a market.

I was just so passionate about the topic that I wrote the ebook 360 pages, edited it down to 108 pages, learned how to make a webpage, how to get it online, etc and I learned the rest as time went on.

If I had taken the time to master being an affiliate first I would have shortened my learning curve considerably, I would have been more assertive in my marketing instead of drowning myself in marketing ebooks and websites and my confidence would have been through the roof which would have allowed me to test the waters with other products to bring in some money while I was waiting for my product to take off.

Great post and yes you should bring it back or post it over again so that people can benefit from it.

Paul

I completely agree with everyone's postings. Of course, one of the problems all of us still has is picking the correct affiliate program, as there are so many out here. And some look way better than they turn out to be, unfortunately. Still, at least there are lots of options.
